Digital Signature Solutions

Digital Signature Certificates (DSC) is an electronic form of physical or paper certificates, which serve as proof of identity of an individual for a certain purpose. A digital certificate can be presented electronically to prove some one’s identity, to access information or services on the Internet or to sign certain documents digitally.

To facilitate electronic filing, all companies registered with the Registrar of Companies have to procure legally valid Digital Signature Certificates.

Like physical documents are signed manually, electronic documents are required to be signed digitally using a Digital Signature Certificate.

A licensed Certifying Authority issues the digital signature. Certifying Authority (CA) means a person who has been granted a license to issue a digital signature certificate under Section 24 of the Indian IT-Act 2000.

Digital signatures are easily transportable, cannot be imitated by someone else, and can be automatically time-stamped.
